Dear Friend,
This ministry was born out of a quiet, burning conviction from the Holy Spirit: leaders need a safe place to stop leading and simply be led. You need a space where you don't have to perform, preach, or solve anything—a sacred sanctuary where your own soul can be tended to.
That is why Dear Heart exists.
So often, leaders are expected to have all the answers, hold space for everyone else’s pain, and constantly pour out—sometimes until the well runs dry. We carry heavy burdens, and in the quiet moments, it’s easy to feel the weariness of a spiritual battle that is very real. For we battle not against flesh and blood, but against forces that would love nothing more than to make you forget who you are when the spotlight turns off.
My heart is, first and foremost, to lean in and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying.
And secondly, my heart is for you—the pastors, ministry leaders, and faithful servants in the trenches.
I believe right now is the time to open these doors because the Church doesn't just need more striving; it needs whole, rested, and deeply grounded leaders who are operating out of the overflow of God's love.
You don't have to carry the weight alone anymore. Consider this an open invitation to step out of the fray, pull up a chair, and let Him restore your soul.
With love and grace,
Before you are a leader,
you are His beloved.
they are about bringing you back to sure footing. They are about helping you clear away the noise so you can hear the gentle whisper of the Father reminding you of the most foundational truth of all:
Spiritual direction, spiritual formation, and inner healing aren't about fixing you;
you are
His Beloved
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
— Matthew 11:28–29

As leaders and caregivers, we spend so much time checking in on everyone else that we often miss the quiet signs of our own weariness. In just five minutes, this brief self-assessment offers a gentle, objective mirror to help you pause, reflect, and discern the current health of your inner life.
